1Inflate the hairpan with a pump, or by mouth.

2Place hair basin under the patient’s head.

3For the patient’s comfort, place a towel between the hair basin and the patient’s head.

4Place the drain at least 30 cm higher than the expected water level.

5Note that a drain plug may be used for more comfort.

6Wipe the shampoo basin before folding it.
